The DOS challenge is to digitize, transmit, reproduce and recapture smells, flavors and fragrances.
The Scientific Committee of the Digital Society Olfaction (DOS) announced theprogram of demonstrationsof its first meeting to be held in Berlin on 11 and 12 April.
“… Our idea is to show all devices which can capture odors, turn them into digital data so as to transmit them everywhere in the world…”, stated Pr Marvin EDEAS & Pr Takamichi NAKAMOTO, chairmen of DOS.The Scientific Committee announced"...this is the first time we gather in the same place this extraordinary innovations. It`s look like the first demonstration to transmit sounds waves ortele phone call and we think that 2013 will be a huge step towards an exciting window for our future life..."
